I am a family of 7 and between my husband and 5 children we worn down our sofa's pretty good. Instead of replacing them I tried these covers. They fit perfect but instead of using the foam holders that come with the product I use dumbbells to keep them in place. I would use the cover on new sofas as well to keep them longer and keep cramp from falling into the sofas.
This was money well spent. I love it. It is very soft and easy to put on. The color is beautiful and the fabric is sturdy. There is elastic around the bottom, so there are no straps to have to deal with.
It looks exactly how you imagine and for the price, it beyond met my expectations.
The slipcover is soft, looks nice, and washes well. It stretches well. I do wish it came in a larger size (length) for another very large sofa. I'm very happy with the purchase for the ones it fits! My friend was visiting and even asked about getting one for her sofa to protect it from her dog. I purchased mine to protect the sofas from the 2 cats claws and from my messy husband!!
I bought the whole couch covers and put them on the bottom and backs of my sectional-separate covers for each back cushion. The sectional cover wasn't going to work for mine, and this worked out perfectly.
